Christina Stokes has been a trustee since May 2019. She has a degree in Accountancy as well as one in Law and has been Treasurer for a variety of community organisations and Charities over the last 30 years. She has one daughter.
Christina began her career in accountancy but moved on to become a teacher and then a youth worker. She was Head of the Youth Service for South Gloucestershire Council. She has also worked as a Lecturer and a Consultant and now works (very) part-time as an Adoption Mentor.
Christina has been a Bristol City Councillor and has been a School Governor, a Trustee, Chair or Treasurer of many organisations from Survive (Domestic violence charity) to Bristol Women’s Voice and The Groundwork Trust. She is currently a trustee of Bristol Refugee Rights and on the Steering group for Patient and Public involvement in the Centre for Academic Primary Care Research at the University of Bristol.
Christina Became a Magistrate in April 2019.
