BOPF Cookbook – I Want to Cook!

Healthy, easy recipes for older people on a budget
‘I Want To Cook’ has been created by Bristol Older People’s Forum (BOPF) members who can cook and want to inspire others to enjoy cooking like we do. We like the way cooking makes us feel, how nice home-cooked food tastes and makes our homes smell.

Cooking brings back memories, helps us socialise and meet new people. It keeps us learning and is a great conversation starter.

We have chosen simple, healthy recipes that are easy to follow. They don’t use ingredients or equipment you might not be able to find, or the oven unless really necessary. All the recipes are for two-portions, so you’re not making as much as some recipe books suggest. Cooking these recipes from scratch will often be cheaper than buying readymade.
