11th June 2026 – Victoria Park Roll & Stroll

Join us for a walk in one of Bristol’s cherished parks, followed by refreshments and a creative activity. Victoria park has a rich history. Acquired by Bristol City Council in the late Victorian era to provide respite for working-class people, it continues to serve as a vital space for the community to connect with nature.

In Victoria Park, local volunteers have worked hard to create habitats for wildlife. A local ecologist will provide ideas on how we can attract more wildlife to our own gardens. Find out how Victoria Park Action Group (VPAG) and Wild Gardeners have introduced new habitats for wildlife in the park with the help of local volunteers. The tour will include the wildflower meadow, dead hedge, community flowerbed, and vegetable plot, with insights

into how these spaces are created and cared for.

We will meet at the Bowls Club and return there after the walk for refreshments.

After our walk, we’ll enjoy light refreshments and get hands-on with creative activities. Please bring your own lunch!
